most cleansers strip: the skin tightens, and a moisturiser is reached for to put back what the washing took. dissolve is made not to.
it begins as an oil on dry skin — sunscreen, sebum, the day’s weight — and a splash of water turns it to a milk. rinse, and the skin is clean without being pulled.
